Assistant Chef
As an Assistant Chef, you would:
- Use your knowledge and experience of professional cooking to work along with team of staff and
- Efficiently run a kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Help to prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and staff in accordance with current Home's policy and procedure, and any additional company guidelines.
Plan and produce an exciting menu range. The menu should be agreed with the Head Chef and will be flexible enough to satisfy all individual residents' dietary needs, within budgetary constraints.
To liaise with Home Manager and nursing staff to ensure suitable nourishment is provided.
You will work shifts, involving early mornings and late nights, including weekends and public holidays. 36hrs per week 12 & 8hr shifts.
Qualifications, training and experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
