4Site Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client who is a growing basement, shell & core, and groundworks specialist contractor. Please see more details below and apply if this sounds like you.
Role Overview:
As a key member of the commercial team, you will work alongside two other QSs and be responsible for managing 2-3 projects at a time. These projects vary in value from £100K to £3m. You'll handle key tasks such as monitoring project changes, attending meetings, and ensuring smooth communication across the team and with clients.
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with experience in groundworks and shell & core construction. You will be based in Uxbridge, working in both the office and on-site across London and outer counties, depending on project location.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in groundworks and shell & core construction
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice changes on-site
- Excellent communication skills for attending meetings and managing stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Ideally, a mix of academic background and hands-on experience
