Atkinson Moss are delighted to be supporting ther client in search of a Student Support Coordinator. They are based north of the city and looking for an experienced and people focused Student Support Coordinator. The aim of the role is to provide comprehensive support to all students along with administrational support to other members of the team and some reception cover. Experience of working within the higher or further eduction sector is required.

My client provides distance learning for mature students with the average age of learners being 35. They are looking for someone who can empathise with people from all walks of life and adapt their communication style accordingly.

Role Responsibilities include:

- Dealing with customer enquiries

- Handling phone calls and emails

- Data input

- Preparation and distribution of student packs

- Photocopying, scanning and filling

- General administration duties

Skills:

- Excellent IT skills

- Intermediate level on excel - with the ability to create spreadsheets, sort, enter formulas and mail merge

- Excellent communication skills

- Remain calm when dealing with difficult situations

- Work well as a team and alone

The role is offered on a permanent basis with working hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday within a small, friendly and professional team
