Based in Norwich my client is a forward-thinking company with a strong reputation within their field.  They are seeking a company accountant to join them to take on the accounts function for their small company (sub £5M t/o)  This is a wide-ranging role that encompasses:  
  • Producing the annual accounts and liaising with the auditors
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and analysing variance/trends etc
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts
  • Cashflow and Capex
  • Sales and purchase ledger
  • Monitoring projects and work in progress
  To be successful in this role you will be an experienced finance professional with a track record within a small to medium sized  business.  You will be hands on in approach and able to communicate and influence across all levels of a company.  It is key that you are confident and able to manage all areas of finance including maintaining professional relationships with the auditors, banks etc.  The company is offering a salary c£40k together with a good, rounded package of benefits that includes the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.  3 days a week are worked in the Norwich based office with the other 2 days being flexible.
