NXTGEN is excited to be working with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Norwich to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior for their growing tax team. As the new Corporate Tax Senior, you'll be joining the CT team during an exciting period of growth, with one-to-one support from Senior Managers and Directors. This role is ideal for someone eager to progress quickly while also mentoring and supporting the next generation of tax professionals. As the new Corporate Tax Senior, you'll play a key role in managing and advising a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with strategic insights and solutions on a range of corporate tax matters. You'll work closely with the team to build strong relationships and contributing to the firm's high-quality service. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for progression and will see you involved in complex advisory work, helping clients navigate the latest tax development from the most recent budget news.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a range of corporate tax services to a varied client base, from SMEs to larger corporates
  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Provide advisory support on tax planning opportunities, M&A, and R&D tax credits
  • Support Directors with complex tax projects and assist in developing tailored client solutions
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Keep up-to-date with legislative changes and identify opportunities to enhance client service

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of corporate tax
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice, specialising in corporate tax
  • Confident managing a client portfolio and delivering advisory services
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
