Job Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of HM Treasury for two temporary Finance Admin Officers to join their team in Norwich. This role involves supporting finance activities such as managing supplier records, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The role is hybrid, with 60% office-based work in Norwich, and parking is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approve requisitions and ensure procurement and audit requirements are met.
  • Maintain supplier records in the Oracle financial system.
  • Review inactive supplier records and purchase orders to prevent fraudulent spending.
  • Respond to finance queries from internal teams.
  • Help with raising invoices and processing payments.
  • Enter payroll data and ensure accuracy.

  • Experience in finance or accounts roles, preferably in the public sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering great customer service.
