Keeler Recruitment are partnering exclusively with our client to identify a skilled Management Accountant to join their team. This unique business is a rapidly expanding organisation with a remarkable growth trajectory, with a £1.8 million in turnover within the past 8 months, this business has ambitious plans for future growth.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in its finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will provide critical financial support, working closely with leadership to maintain the financial health of the business. The successful candidate will manage a variety of finance functions, bringing both strategic insights and operational efficiency to support the company's exciting growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyse the monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
    • Track and report on KPIs relevant to business performance.
    • Assist the Head of Finance in presenting financials to the Board, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to ensure ongoing liquidity and financial stability.
    • Serve as the primary contact for auditors, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.
    • Handle quarterly VAT returns
    • Raise sales invoices and ensure VAT is recorded accurately.
    • Manage payment processes for suppliers, ensuring adherence to established approval workflows.
    • Oversee the monthly payroll process in coordination with an outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and compliance for the UK Cost Centre (UKCC).
    • Reconcile payment processor revenue by verifying data between dashboards and accounting records.

Experience

  • Proven ability to manage a wide range of finance functions independently, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in cash flow forecasting and VAT returns is essential.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experienced in working within an owner managed business
