As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial data across multiple entities. You will be instrumental in supporting business-wide financial planning and maintaining compliance with reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain detailed supporting documentation for all financial reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit materials and liaise with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure financial consistency.
  • Provide financial insights and data to support strategic decision-making across different business units.
  • Support department managers with financial planning, cost analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with senior finance leaders
  • Act as a point of contact for finance-related queries within the team, providing guidance on financial processes and best practices.

The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will be fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in management accounting. You will have a solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to collaborate across multiple teams and provide financial insight to non-financial stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset will be key to success in this role. Previous experience working within a multi-entity business would be advantageous, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
