For the successful Semi-Senior Accountant the position provides hands-on training from some of the most seasoned professionals in the industry, making it an excellent stepping stone for those either aspiring to transition into the industry in the future. Over the past 18 months, this client has seen remarkable success and business growth, leading to a significant increase in workload and therefore expansion across multiple departments. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll join this vibrant firm at a pivotal moment, working closely with Directors to manage a diverse client portfolio while actively contributing to the firm's ongoing growth. Your responsibilities will include accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT and tax returns, and supporting junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Management Accounts and Financial Statements for clients
  • Assist with VAT and tax returns for the client portfolio
  • Contribute to business development efforts, driving new client acquisition and supporting firm growth
  • Support the training and development of junior team members

What you will need:

  • Have prior experience working in an Accountancy practice setting
  • Studying towards either your ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Excellent communication skills and eager to get involved within the business culture
  • Ambitious to progress and receive further learning and development

What you can expect:

  • 121 support from some of the best in the market
  • A clear and individual progression plan
  • Quick career development
  • Modern work environment where everyone enjoys coming into the office
  • Several all inclusive socials throughout the year
  • Experience and exposure you won't receive in a 'traditional' firm or an industry business
  • Free parking
  • So much more!

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience in an Accountancy practice. While a background in general practice and accounts preparation is preferred, those with experience in Audit or Tax are also encouraged to apply, as our client offers a distinctive work environment. Strong communication and client management skills are essential for this client-facing role. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a success story with significant development prospects as the firm continues to grow.
