Senior Management Accountant - £50,000 - £55,000 – Hybrid

Reed Finance Norwich are delighted to be working with a business, with various locations globally to recruit for a Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance Department. This role involves comprehensive accounting responsibilities across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, management reporting, VAT returns, and assisting with year-end statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance for various group entities.

This is an ideal position for a qualified Management Accountant, seeking a new opportunity to have an impact within an exciting working environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Full responsibility for the accounting of several group companies.
  • Prepare management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare and post monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, and payroll.
  • Handle intercompany transactions and computations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic VAT.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Contribute to year-end audit and corporation tax compliance processes.
  • Oversee and mentor members of the finance department, especially in Norwich.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems and control environments.
  • Monitor cash flow needs and surpluses of the affected entities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across the Group.
  • Self-managed with a proactive approach.
  • Strong understanding of systems, infrastructures, and processes in diverse environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualified ACCA or equivalent.
