Tax Senior Accountant Job Vacancy

What we’re looking for

This thriving regional firm of accountants in Norwich is searching for a talented Tax Senior to join their welcoming team.

What are we looking for? You will be ACA/ACCA/CA or CTA qualified. You will already have experience working in accountancy practice in a tax-focused role and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

We’d be delighted to hear from anyone looking to propel their career to the next level having recently become qualified or from any accountants already working at senior level who are keen for a fresh challenge or for the opportunity to become more tax focused in their day-to-day work.

Job Purpose

  • To act as one of the main points of contact for clients in relation to personal tax compliance and advice.
  • Income tax support.
  • Experience in computation and review of IHT, Corporation Tax, VAT and Capital Gains Tax calculations is desirable but not essential.
  • Overseeing a portfolio of varied clients including Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and LLPs.
  • Communicating effectively with points of contact for the portfolio; building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting the Tax Managers as required.
  • Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team.
  • Offering learning and development opportunities as a mentor to junior staff.
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
