Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients’ Accounts Department due to an increase in workload and following the expansion of the company portfolio. This is an ideal role for an experienced accounts candidate looking to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain the Accounts Database, including posting of debts collected, posting invoices, and preparation of statements for each company as required.
- Ensure timely payments
- Manage all areas of Purchase and Sales ledger for the company and assist in credit control management.
- Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of cashbooks and bank accounts for the company.
- Further ad hoc transactional accounts duties
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an account's assistant role or similar.
- Proficiency in maintaining databases and ledgers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
