Assistant Management Accountant

Norwich City Centre 

£28k - £32k 

 

Keeler Recruitment are exclusively working with a city centre based business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. Your role will be pivotal in managing the financial health of the organisation and will take on diverse responsibilities, from preparing and reviewing budgets to assisting the Finance Director with the management account process. This is a full time, permanent position working 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

DUTIES:

  • Preparing and review annual budgets
  • Reviewing and preparing year-end and quarterly accounts, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasting expected expenditures.
  • Addressing ad-hoc queries and requests promptly from directors and stakeholders.
  • Managing invoice postings, including reviewing and posting supplier invoices on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Assisting with audits, external accounts reviews, and HMRC tax returns.
  • Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with the accounting software.

YOU WILL HAVE/BE:

  • Previous experience in a relevant position
  • AAT Studier or above
  • Knowledge and understanding of double entry
  • Computer literate, well organised, a team player, a good level of literacy/numeracy
  • Have a 'can do' attitude.
