We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain to join a rapidly growing and dynamic company in a key leadership role.
As Head of Supply Chain, you will be a vital part of the Executive Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the business and driving its vision forward. You will play a hands-on role in leading the supply chain function, ensuring its efficiency, and driving continuous improvements across a wide range of processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the global Supply Chain function to support the business’s growth and operational needs, from new product development to serial production assembly.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, balancing cost, quality, and delivery, and engaging with suppliers to drive long-term, sustainable relationships.
- Proactively manage the lifecycle of materials, stock control, and logistics to reduce risks, improve efficiency, and maintain on-time delivery.
- Lead and manage a growing team, ensuring their development, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Create and implement robust supply chain policies, procedures, and performance metrics to continuously improve operations.
- Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless, high-quality product delivery.
- Manage international logistics and import/export procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Procurement leadership within a serial production manufacturing environment.
- Background in OEM automotive or aerospace manufacturing
- Proven leadership ability with hands-on experience in senior roles.
- Solid knowledge of contract law, procurement strategy, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive change at all levels within an organization.
- A degree in a relevant field and professional qualifications/accreditations.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Desirable:
- Experience in consolidation centre operations.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
