About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Procurement & Supply Chain Apprentice. This role will provide hands-on experience in manufacturing planning and administration systems, including JDE, MRP systems, and inventory management, with a focus on spend and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse inventory levels and schedule orders for both internal factories and external suppliers of finished products.
  • Develop knowledge of different supply chain execution methods and apply them effectively.
  • Support procurement activities, including supplier relationship management and cost control.
  • Maintain and monitor MRP parameters (stock levels & demand) to ensure optimal inventory control.
  • Communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
  • Adapt supply patterns to enhance stock value while meeting demand.

  • A strong willingness to learn and build expertise in procurement and supply chain functions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on cost control and service efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
