Are you a Mechanic by trade or progressed into management/supervisory roles within mechanical installation. With a keen eye for detail, advance knowledge in the utility sector where health and safety is paramount, you would also be used to working on-site.

What is the role?
 
This position is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical planning, coordination, and execution of site works, which includes mechanical installations, servicing, and commissioning. Key aspects involve managing a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring they are equipped and informed to carry out their tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
 
 
What will my day-to-day duties look like?
 
 
  • Planning and managing site works, ensuring proper preparation, tooling, and materials for installations.
  • Overseeing the delivery of risk assessments, method statements, permits, and safety talks to ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and support.
  • Conducting site audits and visits to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Leading a team of technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operations and efficient project delivery.
  • Engaging in readiness sessions and desktop rehearsals to ensure site teams are fully prepared for upcoming tasks.
