Software Asset Management Administrator

Fully remote - 3-month contract (scope to extend) - starting ASAP Jan

We are looking for an experienced software licence specialist, administrator to join global Software services company

Job duties

Compliance and Reporting

  • Assisting the ITVOM in the implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Producing and generating compliance reports and reporting to stakeholders where required.
  • Providing regular reports on software licence usage, compliance and cost.

Stakeholder management

  • Created and maintained a good rapport and working relationship with third party stakeholders and clients.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels

Management of software licences

  • Across multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe and Oracle etc.
  • Help maintain an accurate and up to date inventory of all software
  • Assist in the management of software licence agreements
  • Proactively researching cost savings activities across the current database
  • Assist in the management of software contracts ensuring the compliance of T&C's
  • Knowledge of Snow and Snow Atlas, including SAM core and SAAS.

Software procurement

  • Assist with the transfer of the software procurement process.
  • Involved in the transfer of the purchasing process via the Spend council
  • Assisting the ITVOM in leading the weekly spend council meetings.
  • Reviewing purchasing, renewals and additions in licencing.

Process and Documentation

  • Assisting the ITVOM with developing and implementation of processes and documentation for SAM
  • Ensuring they align with the current practices.
