Reed Accountancy Norwich are looking for Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records and controls related to accounts payable.
Day-to-day of the role:- Process incoming invoices, ensuring they are coded and matched correctly.
- Prepare and perform payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with suppliers and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and payment records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve payment processes.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using Sage.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
