NXTGEN is seeking an ambitious and charismatic Bookkeeper for a unique career opportunity in Norwich. In this progressive role, you will work closely with a highly experienced Manager, handling a small portfolio of clients and managing all aspects of bookkeeping. Due to continued growth, the company needs someone with your expertise to provide hands-on advice and bookkeeping services while working collaboratively with internal finance teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the bookkeeping needs of a diverse group of local businesses.
  • Supporting the Manager in delivering high-level financial insights and hands-on advice.
  • Month-end preparation.
  • VAT compliance.

About You:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accountancy practice or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a keen eye for detail.
