Chris Burgess Consult and Recruit Ltd are working with a thriving construction business to recruit a detail-oriented and organised in-house bookkeeper to become an integral part of their energetic team. The company specialises in the management and delivery of large construction schemes, utilising modern, sustainable methods of construction for commercial clients and are based in the city centre.
This is a flexible role offering autonomy, career satisfaction, and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a successful, thriving construction business, working alongside a dedicated team. The job will involve bank reconciliations, managing sales & supplier ledgers, CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) submissions and VAT returns.
Proficiency in Sage line 50 accounting software is essential. Knowledge of CIS and the wider construction environment and an AT1 qualification is an advantage but not essential.
