Our client is seeking a bookkeeper to join their growing team in accountancy practice.

Are you an organised, computer-savvy individual?

We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our growing team bookkeeping and VAT team within our accountancy practice.

We rely heavily on technology and are looking for someone who can easily navigate our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to our team of accountants and business advisors
  • Manage and maintain our client bookkeeping systems, including
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Invoice and receipt input
    • Advising clients of payments
    • Providing reports to clients
  • Liaise with clients and handle routine enquiries efficiently
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by supporting other team members and clients as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tech-savvy: You’ll work with electronic filing systems, portals, Dext, Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other bespoke accounting software.
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy is critical in maintaining bookkeeping records, documents and data.
  • Organised and proactive: You’ll need to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills: Both written and verbal communication with clients and team members are essential.
  • Problem-solving attitude: The ability to work autonomously and find solutions when needed.
