Timber Building Installer

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are actively looking for a Timber Building Installers for our client who is based in Horsford. 

• Hours of Work: 06h45 - 16h30 (17h00 – at peak periods).
• Monday to Friday with overtime worked as and when required. 
• Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour 
• This is a temporary position with the possibility for a permanent position after a successful 12 week period. 
• Full UK Driving Licence is required for the role.
• Own Transport or the ability to reliably commute is essential due to location 

Job Summary

As part of the installation team, you’ll be traveling to site locations. For the purpose of erecting Garden Buildings at site locations. 

Most of your training will be on the job and you will be taught how to use the equipment required for the required duties.

Training and guidance about the garden building erection process, will be instructed to you by more experienced colleagues.

So, what will you actually be doing?

There’s not much your job won’t cover, your main duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Face to face customer interaction
• Working in customers gardens

• Working to deadlines and schedules
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Erection of buildings – shed’s, summerhouse’s, garage’s, Log cabin’s etc.
• Quality control of items being erected
• Keep work area Tidy and Clean
• Stock Control
• Waste Control
• Assist in Painting of buildings when required
• Adhere to health and safety at all time
