Maintenance Surveyor
- Annual Salary: £39,092 to £49,064 pro rata
- Location: Hybrid – Norwich
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Job Type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st October 2025
We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join a large social housing organisation based within Norwich to cover the local region. This role is crucial in overseeing both in-house and external repair services, ensuring high standards of delivery that meet customer expectations and provide value for money.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carry out pre and post-inspections and create detailed reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
- Manage the performance and progress of the repairs service, ensuring that quality works are delivered on time, with minimal defects, and within budget.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification in a property-related discipline, such as HNC in Surveying, or a degree-level qualification.
- Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
- Ability to travel across the region as required – full UK Driving Licence required
- Must be eligible to work in the UK; not able to offer visa sponsorship.
