ROLE: HGV Refuse Collections Driver

LOCATION: North Norfolk

What you’ll be doing

· To carry out refuse & recycling collections daily with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.

· Undertaking all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.

· Use of in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed by the Contract.

· Completing relevant paperwork in real time.

· Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting of machinery, before and after usage, including vehicles.

· Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.

· To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public and other motor users.

Your typical working hours are

· 6am to 2pm

· Monday – Friday

What you’ll need to do the role

· Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (With no more than 6 points),

· Driver CPC

· Willingness to help Loaders whilst on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated

· Willingness to undertake tasks.

· Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff

· Previous relevant experience desirable.

Pay Rate £15 Per Hour
