We have an excellent new opportunity based in Norwich with our client who are well established in the office supplies sector.We are looking for a dedicated sales person to join the team and increase sales by developing the relationship with new and existing customers through outbound activity.
The role will involve establishing your own customer portfolio and account managing new and existing customers to identify sales opportunities, 90% of which will have purchased recently in the last few days. There are warm leads to follow up.Â
Improve communication with existing customers by openly discussing future sales opportunities and account managementContinuously review customer activity and offer Linked Products to grow salesCarry out calling campaigns from lists provided by the Marketing DepartmentEnsure appropriate marketing material is sent to contacts to promote new enquiriesFollow up delivery of marketing materialsPromote offers to new and existing contactsPositively encourage lapsed customers to order againIdentify Project opportunities from known and new contactsReview local business activity to spot new opportunitiesAssist the sales team to help cover absence and annual leave as neededProvide weekly reports to the Sales ManagerWe are looking for an individual who is a confident communicator, feels comfortable calling business clients and asking the right questions to deliver sales, can work on their own initiative, is positive and proactive.Ideally you will have 2 years sales development experience, sales of a product or service in a commercial environment and confident use of Microsoft Office Package.
Basic salary of £24,000 with opportunity for commission up to £2000 - £4000 annually.
