Deliver innovative infrastructure design in a consultancy where your ideas and expertise are truly valued.
We're partnering with a well-established, design-led engineering consultancy based in Norwich that's recognised for its technical excellence and collaborative approach. Their portfolio spans major residential, retail, logistics, and tech sector projects across the UK and Europe.
As their workload continues to grow, they're looking to bring in a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects - from early concept and due diligence through to technical design and delivery.
Whether you're stepping up into a senior role or already established at that level, this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and be part of a supportive team that actively invests in your development.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead or contribute to the design and delivery of civil infrastructure schemes including highways, drainage, flood risk and utilities
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and design packages
- Use Civil3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and related software to develop detailed models and drawings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the UK and Europe
- Assist in project management tasks including programming, budgeting and client liaison (senior level)
- Mentor junior staff and support the wider team's technical development (senior level)
- Ensure compliance with current standards, regulations and best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-8+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design consultancy
- Strong technical ability in highways and drainage design
- Proficient in Civil3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and comfortable working in a BIM environment
- Working towards or already achieved Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status
- Clear communicator with strong report writing and organisational skills
- Confident managing your own workload and contributing to team success
- Experience in FRA, drainage strategy reports and due diligence work is desirable
- Familiarity with Eurocodes, RIBA or HOAI stages is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- 25 days holiday + public holidays + birthday leave
- Option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
- Private medical insurance (for you and your family)
- Bupa cash plan
- 7.5% employer pension contribution
- Cycle to work scheme
- Annual professional membership fees paid
- A company culture that values people, not just productivity - with genuine career progression and training support
