Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to play your part in the global energy transition in a fast-growing business. The company creates value for customers by providing them with the market knowledge and insights needed for strategic decision making.

The company’s clients include established market players and pioneering new entrants from across the entire value-chain. The company produces a successful mix of high-quality subscriptions comprising quarterly reports, databases, webinars, online-tools and customer support to a growing client-base.

Bespoke customer requirements are serviced by the Offshore Wind Consulting team who deliver fast turnaround, high quality, detailed and actionable market reports and other services. Our services provide valuable input to the client’s strategic decision-making processes. Clients include offshore wind developers, supply chain, government, and investors.

About You
  • You hold at least an undergraduate degree in a technical or numeric discipline from a leading institution. Post-graduate study will be well regarded.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience from engineering, operations, research, strategy or consulting.
  • You have knowledge of the offshore wind industry and have ideally serviced clients in the industry.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to manage projects, including the work of colleagues, and deliver quality whilst under pressure.
  • You have the skills to clearly articulate and communicate complex concepts, both verbally and in written form.
  • You are a confident communicator who is keen to get to the bottom of a problem by engaging with people face-to-face.
  • You have strong numerical skills, statistical knowledge, and are comfortable performing analysis and forecasting in MS Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver successful consulting projects. This will include both coordination of others and timely production of your own quality research.
  • Undertake primary and secondary research using a range of methods, including proactive telephone-based investigations, deep dives at industry events, desk studies and detailed data analysis.
  • Write clear and effective reports that present all work and findings in an engaging and simple manner.
  • Attend client meetings and present at client offices and industry events
  • When applicable, feed learning back to the research team to ensure the continued relevance, quality, and completeness of the market leading intelligence services.
  • Develop a personal network of relationships across the industry.
