Setting Out Engineer

Approved Workforce are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to work in the Norwich area.

Our client is an established groundwork & civil engineering business, who pride themselves on quality service and workmanship.

They are currently looking for a Site Engineer, to work on a groundworks and RC structure project, with tasks including:

• Setting out.
• Explaining tasks to work force.
• Carrying out Quality Control and keeping documents.
• Managing drawings.

Requirements: -

• Experience in setting out and surveying in a construction environment is preferred
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment
• Good knowledge of construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Physical fitness to work outdoors and handle equipment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with various stakeholders

Experience: -

• At least 3 years' experience
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred.
• First Aid at work
