Site Engineer - Wind Farm earthworks package- Norwich AreaA leading electrical engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a major off shore wind farm construction project in the Norwich area. This is an opportunity to contribute to a vital energy infrastructure project, ensuring reliable power for the region. What You'll Do:

  • Play a key role in the construction of the wind farm, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee setting out and leveling operations, ensuring the precise placement of structures and utilities.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards, including those specific to high-voltage electrical work.

What We Need:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on windarms or electrical infrastructure projects.
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to substation construction, including knowledge of high-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software for setting out and leveling operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
  • A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards, particularly in a high-voltage environment.
