Our client is recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join their industry-respected and growing business. With offices across the UK our multi million pound clients' teams consult, deliver and manage infrastructure projects across a broad spectrum of engineering sectors.

The Role:

You will be working for an award-winning practice, known for providing innovative, client focussed design solutions, and adding value through quality and lateral thought. Their innovation, creative and pragmatic approach allows architectural and client aspirations to be realised. The business undertakes a wide variety of engineering projects, in both the public and private sectors.

The role will entail: Meeting clients Attending site meetings, completing structural design calculations, structural drawings and details, working with structural technicians on reinforcement detailing working on new and historic structures.

You will get the opportunity to work on some of the biggest UK projects with plenty of scope for progression.

If not already chartered, my client will mentor you to chartership as soon as possible. Structural Engineers from different disciplines will be considered if they have the relevant transferable skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience working within a structural engineering consultancy.
  • Some experience with any of the following programs: AutoDesk, Tekla, Tedds or similar.
  • Will have an engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Be passionate about sustainable design solutions.
  • An effective communicator.
