R13 Recruitment are supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Customer Sales Consultant to act as the first point of contact for prospective customers, providing them with product information and answering their questions. Additionally, you will manage the sales cycle, including generating opportunities via outbound calls, qualifying leads, developing solutions, negotiating, and finally closing the sale.

Based in Norwich, this is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week (8.30am - 5.15pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am - 4.00pm, Friday). The offered salary for this opportunity is £28,000 + OTE (£30k).

The day to day

  • Actively promoting products and emphasising the benefits during customer interactions.
  • Comprehending customer needs and requirements by employing focused questions.
  • Tailoring quotations for individual customers and effectively following up.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to convert existing and new customers.
  • General data entry and cleansing of customer contact information in CRM during communications.
  • Working closely with internal teams and performing other ad hoc duties as required.

You will have/be

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a sales role.
  • Previous experience operating CRM systems; a familiarity with lead generation systems is desirable.
  • Demonstratable problem-solving skills with the ability to derive effective solutions from data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure and fast-paced situations.
  • A track record of achieving company and personal KPIs.
