CNC Engineer
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Purpose:
Seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to manufacture high-quality prototypes from conceptual designs for electric motors and drive systems. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery, and contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate 3 & 4-axis CNC machines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype specifications.
- Perform first article inspections and ensure equipment operability.
- Provide technical advice on design feasibility and suggest improvements.
- Investigate and propose new technologies to advance operations.
- Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven CNC programming and operating experience.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM, and knowledge of tooling and material properties.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
