Role – Sheet Metal Worker/Plating roleLocation – Thetford, NorfolkWorking hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hoursRate of pay – £17.50 per hour - £20.00 per hourCapacity of role – Temporary to Permanent positonOur client is a leading manufacturer who is currently recruiting for a sheet metal worker/plater to join their workshop team.Candidates will need to be familiar with engineering practises and will have worked in a similar position previouslyMain duties will include – • Cutting and shaping sheet metal into specific sizes and shapes working to customer specifications.• Installing sheet metal components, such as ducts, vents, and gutters in the appropriate locations. • Use specialised tools and equipment to bend, join, and fasten sheet metal pieces together. • Measuring and marking sheet metal to ensure accuracy and precision in fabrication and installation. • Understand and follow building codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. • Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine specifications and requirements for sheet metal installation. • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. • Maintain and repair sheet metal components as needed to ensure they function properly over time.Candidate attributes –  Previous working experience in a similar position Being a time served engineer who has the ability to use a variety of practises to construct and complete customer specifications Ability to work a variety of hours as and when required Good communication skills both written and verbal Own transport due to the location of the business.Skills:Sheet Metal, Plater, Engineering, Manufacturing, Machinery, Plating, Qualifications:Driving licence, Keywords:Sheet Metal, Plater, Engineering, Manufacturing, Machinery, Plating,
