Carpentry Supervisor

Midland County Group are seeking a fulltime carpentry supervisor for our Cringleford site. Experience working as a site supervisor would be an advantage but not essential training will be provided.

Responsibilities include overseeing the carpentry works on site. You will receive support from the company contracts manager and the office team.

Must be experiences in first and second fix.

Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are met.

Ensure administrational requirements are met.

Manage client expectations.

Monitor project material (fixings).

Liaise with clients regarding site issues, queries and concerns and issue reports where applicable.

Maintaining quality & safety control procedures.

Motivate and drive the 8 - 14 workforce in a productive and time effective manner.

Possess a strong construction background, with previous experience or looking for career progression.

Excellent management skills with the ability to get the best out of full site teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a SSSTS or SMSTS certificate, but not essential training will be provided.

A strong desire to improve individually as well as helping others. You will be a strong communicator, with excellent organisational skills.
