Your new companyOur client is a regional contractor working across various sectors including education, commercial and residential projects. They are looking for an experienced site manager to run a residential site near Norwich.Your new roleKey Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Implement and enforce site rules and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on social housing.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
