Job Title: Working Foreman/Site Supervisor

Salary: £210-£220 Per day
Working Hours: 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Working Foreman / Site Supervisor for a temporary role on a construction project in Norwich. This position requires someone with a strong background in construction who is comfortable taking on hands-on tasks while also supervising the site. You will be expected to lead by example, working alongside the team to ensure the project runs smoothly, safely, and is completed to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site activities and ensure that work is completed on time and to the required specifications.
- Supervise and work alongside the on-site team, taking a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to achieve project milestones.
- Communicate effectively with the site management team, providing updates on progress and any potential issues.
- Maintain high-quality standards and site cleanliness.
- Manage materials and equipment on-site, ensuring efficient use and minimal waste.
Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification – mandatory.
- First Aid certification – mandatory.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card – mandatory.
- Proven experience in a Working Foreman or Site Supervisor role within the construction industry.
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks while managing the site team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret drawings and supervise work according to specifications.
