Role – Project Manager RoleLocation – NorfolkWorking hours – Monday to Friday – full time hoursCapacity of role – Permanent positionSalary – £40,000 per annum.Our client is a leading manufacturer in their field and they are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to lead, support and develop their current workforce. This role is a pivotal position for the smooth running of the company. Applicants will need to be a natural relationship builder mixed with the ability to remain self-motivated and being able to work on a multitude of tasks at any one point.Main duties will include –  Full ownership of projects Liaising and meetings with sales departments to ensure the smooth running of projects and working to a right first time approach Leading meetings with departments weekly to update clients on progress. Keep in house system updated with the progress of projects from point of sales release through from start to completion of assignments Being a mediator for all projects and ensure transparent communication is relayed Coordinating transport and dispatch requests  Ensure payment terms are adhered to by the client. Highlight shortfalls of deliverables to management Ensure variations to projects are correctly instructed, costed and actioned. Assisting and implementing new ideas for the development of new processes to improve departmental and company output. Travel to site as and when required to conduct surveys or attend site meetings. Compile and issuing clear instructions to internal departments to allow them to complete their stage of the project as efficiently as possible. Assist in compilation of the reports for the Senior Management Team/Board of Directors.Candidate attributes –  Possessing strong and solid relationship building skills Ability to work on a multitude of tasks at any one point Background knowledge to understand and interpret technical drawings and identify solutions to any issues as raised Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to motivate, drive and push various departments to ensure company brand is upheld and kept in line with a right first time approach Being a natural problem solver who can apply and demonstrate leadership skills Skills:Project Manager, Manufacturing, Mediator, relationship builder, technical drawings, problem solver, right first time approach, happy to travelQualifications:own transportKeywords:Project Manager, Manufacturing, Mediator, relationship builder, technical drawings, problem solver, right first time approach, happy to travel
