Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Norwich

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor! As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Commercial team on a variety of projects from Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Defence between 10m - 30m.

Duties will include:

  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
  • Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome

To be considered for the role, they would like:

  • Proven experience as the SQS / Commercial lead working with a regional / national contractor
  • A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • A good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Strong mathematical and IT ability
  • Negotiating and networking skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good team working skills
