Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are actively looking for a TRAINEE Painter / Finisher for our client who is based in Horsford. 

  • Hours of Work: 07h00 - 16h00 (17h00 – at peak periods).
  • Monday to Friday with overtime worked as and when required. 
  • Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour 
  • This is a temporary position with the possibility for a permanent position after a successful 12 week period. 
  • Own Transport or the ability to reliably commute is essential due to location 

Job Summary

You will be required to treat and finish buildings, all training will be provided on the job.

You will be taught how to use the equipment and about the treating and finishing process. 

So what will your job cover: 

  • Treating sections of buildings
  • Treating components for buildings
  • Assist in finishing of building – hanging doors, fitting windows etc.
  • Working to deadlines and schedules
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Quality control of items produced
  • Keep work area Tidy and Clean
  • Stock Control
  • Waste Control
  • Assist in Loading and Unloading of Vehicles
  • Adhere to health and safety at all time
