Flux Consulting have partnered witha leading construction company based in Norwich, specializing in a wide range of projects across Norfolk and East Anglia. Due to an upcoming retirement, wearelooking for a talented and experienced Contracts Manager to join theteam.
The Opportunity:
You will oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically 2 to 3 jobs, with values reaching up to 3 million. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee 2 to 3 construction projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits across Norfolk and East Anglia to monitor progress and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel around East Anglia.
