Customer Service Representative

Our prestigious manufacturing-based client, based in Norwich, are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their Customer Service team.

This is a full time position working 38 hours per week (09:00-17:00) on a 6 month contract, based in Norwich.

In this role, you will professionally facilitate orders and the life cycle process whilst providing customer support from inception through to shipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilitie

  • Validate and process label artwork requests
  • Accurate Item Master file creation and maintenance
  • Label order life cycle facilitation; internal and external communication
  • Label administration support to our agents and Partners
  • Initiate and/or modify customer set-up data through agreed-upon process ensuring accurate Customer Master file management
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational objectives of the department are prioritised
  • Adherence to and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 processes and work instructions
  • Actively contribute to achieving departmental objectives, metrics and targets in support of the Corporate Strategic Goals and in line with the Department Business plan.
  • Raise Credit Notes when required
  • Use the CRM to communicate pertinent customer interactions to the Sales team
  • Use the Business Information tool(s) for reporting requirements
  • Respond promptly to customer queries regarding contracts and orders
  • Correctly input data into the ERP system

The team member is a customer advocate to the organisation and in addition to label order entry fields customer queries and issues that may arise.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent telephone / email manner
  • Previous experience in customer service functions and activities.
  • Ability to work with system-based ERP applications
  • Advance computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Driving License
  • Customer service within a manufacturing background
