Our client is seeking a Financial Data Analyst for a six-month assignment based in Norwich, with the flexibility of a mix of office and home working. This role offers an attractive hourly rate of £14.17 (PAYE), inclusive of holiday pay. As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be at the heart of their operations, ensuring the accuracy and prompt verification of bank details to support fiduciary payments processing. What you'll do:

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our client's financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be the independent verification of bank details, a task that requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. You will also be tasked with managing requests from fiduciary and claims departments, assessing these for potential fraudulent activity. Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you liaise with beneficiaries globally and collaborate closely with the Account Management team. Your ability to manage your workload efficiently, prioritising tasks independently, will ensure smooth operations within this fast-paced environment.

  • Independently verify bank details ensuring accuracy and promptness
  • Communicate concisely with colleagues across various levels within the business and trading partners
  • Manage requests from fiduciary and claims to load bank details to the accounting systems
  • Assess requests assigned for any potentially fraudulent activity
  • Contact beneficiaries globally to independently verify bank account information predominantly over the telephone and occasionally via email
  • Liaise with the Account Management team to load verified bank details to the accounting systems, reviewing input data for accuracy prior to them being used for payment
  • Log progress and results for all requests to allow adequate reporting for management and auditors
  • Manage workload efficiently and prioritise workload independently
