Our highly successful and rapidly growing client in the Insurance industry is seeking a Data Analyst to join a key department focused on delivering high-quality Management Information (MI) services to the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with the business and other talented professionals, whilst expanding on your knowledge in Data Analysis.

The team's success is fuelled by delivering excellent products, supported by accurate reporting and performance monitoring, which enhances business decision-making.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to spend time both at home and in the office on a weekly basis.

You must be within a commutable distance as regular office attendance with the rest of the team is required.

Responsibilities as Data Analyst will include:

  • Supporting business needs by analysing activity data, investigating trends and making recommendations
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Building and reviewing complex data models
  • Compiling the findings into comprehensive, easy-to-access reports for Management and all other Stakeholders
  • Promoting and leading processes automation and self-serve solutions
  • Advocating good data management practices and delivering a continuously improvement strategy
  • Performing peer reviews to ensure quality
  • Training end-users and providing leadership to junior Analysts

To be successful in this Data Analyst role you will demonstrate:

  • Experience of Power BI, Excel including VBA, and MS SQL
  • Knowledge of data modelling, cleansing and standardisation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to interpret requirements, presenting data in a clear and compelling way
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail with high level focus on quality
  • Confidence to interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines
