Senior Database Engineer is required by this leading eCommerce business to lead on the transformation of their existing MySQL databases to AWS RDS, ensuring optimisation, scalability and security. The organisation is on a journey to revolutionise their database infrastructure, moving to cloud technologies and a more efficiency around operations.
Ideally you can demonstrate a number of similar migrations, ensuring administration and engineering meets their continuous improvement database plans.
- Lead on the migration of on-prem MySQL to AWS RDS
- Design, implement and maintain robust architectures to support future growth
- Manage database performance, tuning, indexing and query optimisation
- Implement Rundeck
- Qlik database integration
- Ensure DR and availability
- AWS or database management certifications will be very beneficial
