R13 Recruitment are working closely alongside a dynamic and exciting digital marketing agency in their search for a Head of SEO. This is a crucial role within the business and as such they are looking for someone with extensive SEO experience, the drive to achieve great results for their clients and someone who is excited about leading a team.

This is a full time, permanent position working flexible hour across Monday to Friday (with hybrid / remote working options available). This opportunity offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Developing in-depth SEO strategies for clients and regularly communicating with clients.
  • Implementing SEO, including technical optimisation, off-page SEO and content optimisation.
  • Supporting & coaching colleagues, acting as a go-to expert for all things SEO.
  • Reporting on results, communicating with both colleagues & clients.
  • Ensuring the SEO approach is consistent with other digital marketing strategies across the business.
  • Ensuring the agency remains up to date with the latest industry changes, SEO trends, technology and challenges.

You will have/be

  • In depth understanding & experience of all things SEO gained from working in previous SEO Specialist roles.
  • Experience of team leadership, understanding how to motivate others & achieve results.
  • Confident across a range of tools such as GA4, SemRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, GSC, Sitebulb and others.
  • A successful track record of building relationships, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering client results.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a strategic and innovative approach to marketing.
  • The ability to assess result and identify continuous improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
