We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school in Central Norwich. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to provide exceptional support to our students and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of lessons and the learning experience of students.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom materials and resources and provide support during lessons.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students, promoting positive behaviour and mutual respect.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required, such as recording attendance and maintaining records.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Youth Work).
  • Some experience in a similar role, working in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of students.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to take on a range of tasks as required.

Location and Hours: The position is located in Central Norwich and will involve working Monday to Friday, 0830 - 1530.
