We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-respected school in Norwich. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring they are fully included in all aspects of school life.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is desirable.
