Our client, who is based on the outskirts of Norwich, is an established automotive company with a global client base.
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to take on a primarily design-focused role with some involvement in configuration and testing. This position involves designing intricate electrical systems for their advanced technology, ensuring they are configured and tested to meet the required specifications.
Role:
- Creation of design documentation for electrical systems: specifications, cable schedules, block diagrams, Bill of Materials, cable and loom drawings
- Electrical testing of cable systems and control panels
- Configuration of hardware
- Functional testing
- Experience with the Design and documentation for electrical systems within a precision / advanced engineering environment
- Experience of a variety of electrical systems control panels, cabling systems, servodrives and logic controllers
- Test and fault-finding experience
- Electrical design experience
- Relevant qualification BTEC or HNC qualification minimum
