On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for an experienced Events Manager.  You will need to have significant prior experience working in high level, revenue generating B2B events to work with the Events team to deliver best in class events to clients.

Location: Norwich, UK (Fully office based)

Job Type: Full time 35 hours per week Monday-Friday

Fully office based

Salary: Circa 35-40k 

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Full end-to-end management of large scale awards ceremonies and smaller client events.
  • Full event budget management and ownership of the complete event marketing plan.
  • Coordinate entry processes and work with sales teams to optimise attendance at the awards ceremonies.
  • Manage guest/attendee logistics, including table bookings and liaising with sponsors.
  • Oversee the smooth running of each event, from venue selection to post-event communication.
  • Communicate with and assess new suppliers and manage relationships with existing ones.
  • Attend industry conferences and events, requiring travel and overnight stays.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in high-level, revenue-generating B2B events, ideally with an awards component.
  • Proficiency in using social media tools across multiple channels to support commercial marketing objectives.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for event planning and project management tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and face-to-face, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload effectively.
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in sponsor liaison and advanced ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with third-party email systems, ideally Dotdigital, and content management systems, preferably Umbraco.
  • Experience in building and analysing mass participation surveys.
