Overview:

A well-known award-winning flagship estate agency branch requires an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker or mortgage broker to work with the existing team of introducers, averaging 10-12 new mortgage appointments a week, dealing with an average property size of £280,000, however you will deal with mortgages up to £800,000 and earn up to £110,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Working as an office-based whole of market Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, you will receive new mortgage appointments daily, as well as having full access to the existing database of clients. Working as part of a team, as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker based in the flagship Norwich branch, you will offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice.
  • Dealing with an average property size of £280,000, you will handle mortgages for properties of up to £800,000. Based on averages and previous banking figures, the average case size including the broker and proc fee as well as life business is £2,500, with our clients excellent sliding commission scale you will receive £250 to £625 per case.
  • As you will be averaging 10-12 new mortgage appointments, you should sign up 2-3 mortgages per week.

Key Skills:

  • For this excellent Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker in Norwich role, you must possess previous mortgage advice experience, be fully mortgage qualified with either the CeMAP or CF1 & CF6.
  • As well as possessing mortgage experience, a good working knowledge of the associated protection products including life, critical illness and IPP is also required.
  • A clean credit history, a full UK driving licence, no criminal convictions is also a necessity.
